sustainable development goal 11: alternative urban assessment
The report is a critical overview of previous efforts towards the evaluation of SDG11 in Armenia and the improvement thereof. Drawing on previously reported and on-demand data, the document summarizes the national progress in assessing targets on housing, transportation, participatory planning and heritage preservation practices, disaster management and environmental impact in cities, and quality of public spaces for all. The concluding messages offer high-level recommendations for a more comprehensive approach in nationalising the global indicators and more effective reporting.
